United Nations/Islamic Republic of Iran Workshop on the Use of Space Technology for Drought, Flood, and Water Resources Management

International workshop on “the Use of Space Technology for Drought, Flood, and Water Resources Management”, a promotional program of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) under the UN Programme on Space Applications, will be held in Tehran, Iran for three days from 7 August 2021, hosted by the Iranian Space Agency (ISA) on behalf of the Government of Iran.

International workshop on “the Use of Space Technology for Drought, Flood, and Water Resources Management”, a promotional program of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) under the UN Programme on Space Applications, will be held in Tehran, Iran for three days from 7 August 2021, hosted by the Iranian Space Agency (ISA) on behalf of the Government of Iran.

This workshop will discuss the latest scientific and practical advances in the applications of space technologies to solve problems related to water scarcity and natural hazards. All interested researchers and experts are welcomed by the Iranian Space Agency, as the UN-SPIDER Regional Support Office (RSO) in Iran, to actively participate in this workshop.
